By Nina Ragzs Keepers of The Garden
Keeping the Garden of humanity first requires we learn to take better care of ourselves. We must become the model and monitor what we feed us. This is a mind, body and soul walk!
Our relationships with each other are a very relevant ingredient to our healthy walk. Unfortunately woman to woman relationships are a major struggle for us. We are not modeling well in this area.Yes, some of our female relationships are toxic and to be direct, need to end..
However, we have a few great relationships ,with beautiful women that feed us in multiple areas of our lives.
“He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers” (Eph. 4:11)
If we can’t have a relationship with a woman assigned to us, we miss the mentoring, the teaching and we never receive her God given wisdom. If we cannot learn from what our sisters have to feed us we miss the food that contributes to our substance.
I had to grow past the place of “all women are the same”,we are different. I had to allow certain women in my life to grow. I did ultimately set myself up for God to heal me from the damage of bad, toxic and unhealthy relationships.
“Do the work Nina” is a phrase I still hear in my spirit and in the woman’s voice who said it to me. She made a mark on my life, she modeled well, was patient with me,taught me, nurtured me and she gave me a 100%. From this relationship I gained models of good, strong, successful, loving, knowledgeable women of God who also deposited into me. If she had abandoned me like the mothers of my life or the friends who were my enemy,I wouldn’t have recovered. She made me a better woman and will always be that in my life. Her lessons are very vivid to me and often I think “how would she respond to a situation”.
“love yourself enough to let her feed you and know you are probably already at the table to feed another woman”
We have so much to give each other!
