If you were not abandoned and left alone in this world by your parents you don’t understand this kinda pain. To not know why the people who created you didn’t want you and couldn’t fight to keep you is one of the saddest,hopeless, depressing feelings to overcome.
I am an advocate for Sunflower and her wellbeing is my passion. I am passionate for her struggle because great parents adopted me and I don’t have horror stories of foster care. Sunflower was never adopted,has gone from numerous foster care homes,she has no structure and no one she can depend on.
Summer is almost over, school will be resuming,regular worship services,recreation and programs. If Sunflower is in your sphere of influence, I am asking you to understand she is an alone soldier and just maybe you can make her feel not so alone.
