Happy Holidays!
I remember Christmas in my house with barely room to walk in our living room. Awesome gifts that I had waited months to receive.
However the memories that I cherish most are not material. My father took pictures all day. Christmas morning breakfast was being cooked and all was smelling good. Daddy put things together and played with me. Family would begin to dwindle in and the party was on. Christmas dinner was the biggest of the year and it went down in Moms kitchen.
I grew up on Green St. and my childhood friends where my extended family. We hosted friends and family who didn’t live on our Street but it was the place to be.
I have buried both my parents but the memories they created live forever. A simple time, being a child while celebrating the holidays with family and friends are wonderful memories that fill my heart…
Merry Christmas!
